To the east of Tema, urbanisation falls away and the coastline extends down towards Ada. Many small communities exist on the edge of the Coastal Savannah waiting for the sprawl to continue. One day, if we believe the planners, this land will fill with buildings and connect the long planned new International Airport to the Accra-Tema conurbations.
