As the rains begin, farmers are busy preparing and planting. It appears that many crops are going to have some challenges due to the changes in climatic conditions. Fortunately, the diversity of crops and activities provide a safety net for many rural dwellers. Here we see oil palm, mango, sugar cane, maize, rice and other crops all in a relatively compact area.
